a (tiny) room of one's own

Sayaka Minemura lives in Kanagawa, Japan. She has the most charming room and breakfast project which reflect her idiosyncrasies and imagination. The day-to-day fun in life, as she photographed so frequently, is endless, and contagious (:

Her flickr photostream and blog (in japanese).

gosh - so inspiring. i admire anyone who can make a cozy and wonderful space out of pure necessity. there was an adorable furniture/home goods shop that closed called 'tiny living'. they carried wonderful compact goods of all sorts. some of it was a bit twee, but the idea of downsizing inspires me.

kimberley: You are welcome!
miss sophie: I think 'tiny living' is a great idea when we can live with essentials and draw our sources from happiness from things that are less materialistic and more readily available (good fresh food, music, books, sunshine). Love you blog too (in my blogroll now)! :)
